TERMS & CONDITIONS

By accessing or purchasing services from Curated & Regulated, you agree to the following terms.
A detailed, legally binding service agreement will be provided before any work begins to outline responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines specific to your project.
1. Service Scope
We provide compliance support for Canadian cosmetic regulations, including:
CNF guidance and preparation support
Label and claims review
Ingredient screening and compliance checks
Optional Canadian Agent representation (for direct-to-consumer and importer-free brands)
We do not provide legal advice or guarantee acceptance by Health Canada. Final responsibility for product safety and compliance rests with the client.
2. Deliverables
Clients will receive written reports, checklists, and draft CNF documents.
Final CNF submissions are the client’s responsibility unless we are formally appointed as Canadian Agent.
Label design or graphic formatting is not included — services are content-related only.
3. Timelines
Standard turnaround is confirmed once all required intake materials are received.
Expedited timelines may be available for an additional fee.
4. Payments & Refunds
Invoices are due within 21 days of issuance.
Fees are non-refundable once services have commenced.
Work may be paused if payment is overdue.
5. Record Retention
We securely retain CNF and related regulatory records for three (3) years in accordance with Health Canada requirements.
Some data cannot be deleted before this period ends.
6. Ownership of Materials
All templates and tools provided remain the intellectual property of Curated & Regulated.
Clients may use them internally but may not copy, sell, or distribute them externally.
7. Limitation of Liability
Curated & Regulated is not liable for:
Product rejections, recalls, or customs delays
Regulatory enforcement actions resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
Failure to follow compliance recommendations
8. Detailed Agreement
These website terms are for general reference.
A customized service agreement will be provided for your review and signature before project start. This ensures clear alignment on scope, fees, and responsibilities.
